UCF NSF ART Evaluation Overview
This site provides a consolidated view of evaluation progress, performance, and outcomes for the University of Central Florida’s NSF Accelerating Research Translation (ART) project, NSF Award #2331319.
E.B. Howard Consulting (EBHC) serves as the project’s independent external evaluator. EBHC joined the project midway through Project Year 2 and provides an independent assessment of implementation, progress toward performance targets, emerging outcomes, and areas for continued development.
The dashboard brings together project objectives, performance measures, annual and quarterly data, baseline measures, performance targets, and evaluation findings to show how implementation and outcomes are developing over the life of the project.
How to Use This Dashboard
The evaluation is organized around the project’s four objectives. Each objective has its own dashboard section where progress can be viewed against the measures established for the project.
What the Data Show
Across the objective pages, the dashboard is designed to show:
- Baseline: Where the project started
- Performance Target: What the project intends to achieve
- Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 Results: Progress over time
- Quarterly Trends: Where sufficient data are available
- Evaluation Context: Qualitative findings and other information needed to understand the quantitative results
Reading the Dashboard
Not every performance measure develops or is reported in the same way. Some indicators are cumulative, some are reported annually, and others can be tracked quarterly. Certain outcomes are also expected to emerge later in the award period as project activities mature.
As a result, a measure that has not yet reached its performance target does not necessarily indicate underperformance. Results should be considered in the context of the project’s implementation stage, the timing established for each measure, and the amount of the project period that has elapsed.
Evaluation Period
Current reporting: Project Year 3, through September 2026
Project Year 3: February 1, 2026 through January 31, 2027
Because Project Year 3 is still underway, Year 3 results presented in this dashboard are interim and will continue to be updated as additional data become available.
